On 12-15 September 2008 delegation from Człuchów: Mayor of Człuchów - Ryszard Szybajło, President of Town Council - Maria Danuta Kordykiewicz and interpreter - Jadwiga Loroch, visited twinning town in France - Conches.
During the visit the representatives decided about future activities in the cooperation of both towns:
2008
- announcement of a photo contest „My Town” for citizens of both towns.
2009 
- „My Town” photo contest final, exhibition of works in both towns, awards will be established: for citizens of Człuchów by the Mayor of Conches - Alfred Recours, for citizens of Conches by the Mayor of Człuchów - Ryszard Szybajło;
- artists from Człuchów will exhibit their works in Conches: "Portrety i pejzaże (Portraits and landscape art)" by Stanisławy Sierant and exhibition of embroidery by Józefa Sitarz;
- revisit of youth from Człuchów in Conches.
2010
- football tournament for children: Człuchów-Conches-Uslar (in Człuchów);
- Człuchów Days combined with the reneval of twinning agrement (square named Conches), lavender fair;
- in September – participating in celebrations in Conches.

We would like to present letter from our French friends that was sent to us after their visit on the 660th Anniversary of Człuchów.

Since Thursday (20 September) Człuchów hosts French families. It is the first family exchange started by Mrs. Bogusława Konczanin – The President of Polish-French Association in Człuchów in the cooperation between twinning town Człuchów – Conches. The aim of this exchange is to develop contacts, friendships and get to know traditions of both countries. In this year Człuchów families host French families and next year some families from Człuchów will go to France. In the schedule of the visit it is planned to meet with the Mayor of Człuchów and Town Council, sightseeing Człuchów and a trip to Malbork.
