Information about Człuchów

Człuchów – town with 660-year long history. It is located in the borderland of Kaszubian Region and Krajna Region in the South-West part of the Pomeranian Voivodeship. Here is the intersection of Country Road no. 25 from Koszalin to Bydgoszcz and Country Road no. 22 from Gorzów Wielkopolski to Elbląg. In Człuchów live 15 000 citizens. Człuchów is the seat of poviat. The main tourist attraction in Człuchów and in the region is post-glacial lay of the land with characteristic lakes and picturesque moraine hills. So heterogeneous natural environment is a heaven for yachtsmen, anglers, mushroom pickers, hunters and recreation fans. History lovers will find atractive places to visit. The most important are: the tower of Teutonic castle from 14th century with surrounding moats, baileys and park called „Lasek Luizy” (Luiza Grove).
